All units are self-contained with full kitchen & bathrooms. Renters must supply their own linens or sleeping bags.

Prices are in $CDN per night + tax. Prices subject to seasonal changes.

 

Pets are discouraged in most units

Hemlock is a mountain resort and snow and ice exist in most locations. Proper footwear and care must be used.

 

Vehicles should carry tire chains.

Christmas & New Years pricing based on 3 or 4 night minimum stay.

Hemlock Facts

  • 2 hours from Vancouver - travel east on Highway 1 - exit 92 - (Abbotsford / Mission / Sumas) - North on Highway 11 - East on Highway 7 - North on Morris Valley Road - Hemlock Valley Road. Less than 1 hour from Chilliwack, Abbotsford or less than 1.5 hours from Coquitlam & Maple Ridge.

     

  • Is there a gas station?

    There is no gas station at Hemlock. The closest is 20km away in the village of Chehalis.

  • What is the road like?

    The last 7 kilometers of the Hemlock Valley Road is gravel and offers good winter driving surface. The road is maintained 24 hours per day during winter by the Provincial Department of Highways with grading and sanding, however tire chains should be carried by all vehicles in winter.

  • Is there parking?

     

    Park in the designated areas only. Each unit has parking for a minimum of 2 vehicles. No parking on the roadways is enforced during the winter.

  • When do the ski lifts run?

    First weekend in December with 80 centimetres at the day lodge until Easter. Every day through the Christmas School vacation and Spring Break.

     

    Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season. 9:00am to 3:30pm

     

    Night skiing Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays 3:00pm - 8:00pm

     

    Cross Country trails and snow shoeing is permitted 7 days a week.

  • Are there any stores at Hemlock?

    Winter only the ski shop in the Day Lodge offers a variety of ski and snowboard accessories and a full range of rental skis, snowboards, snowshoes and tubes. Off sales are available at the Molly Hogan lounge. There is a small convienience store in the village.

  • Where is the closest hospital?

    Closest hospital is in Mission (45 minutes by car) Mission Memorial Hospital, a full service facility located at 7324 Hurd Street, Mission, B.C. Telephone (604) 826-5251.
