Mountain Accommodation Services (MAS) is an independent property management service which was established at Hemlock Valley in 1983.


MAS is HEMLOCK VALLEY'S CENTRAL RESERVATIONS and BOOKING AGENT for a variety of privately owned condominiums, townhouses, and chalets. MAS is an independent service and is not affiliated with Hemlock Valley Resorts although does co-operate with the resort for certain functions.


MAS has it's office located in the centre of the Village making check-ins and check-outs a breeze.


The rental units are located throughout the Hemlock Alpine Village, and the majority are either ski accessed or are a short walk to the lodge and lifts.


Self Contained Units

All units are completely self contained: with full kitchen (fridge, stove, pots & pans, cutlery and dishes, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dish towels, detergents and garbage bags), full bathroom(s), TV-DVD and a radio. The bedroom(s) are equipped with pillows and blankets for each bed. Renters must supply their own bedding and towels unless prior arrangements have been made. Many units come with amenities such as fireplaces, hot tub, sauna or in Summer a swimming pool.


All units are different from each other: some distinctly rustic while others have a more luxurious feel. All are privately owned and therefore reflect the owners own tastes.


Accommodations are available for individuals, a romantic getaway for two or larger family groups. MAS often caters to groups such as Scouts, Guides and Church Youth Getaways.


The listings on this site will provide you with an idea for the amenities and pricing for your holiday. Prices are based on a minimum stay of 2 nights. Christmas & New Years pricing is based on a 4 night minimum stay. Prices indicated are per night and taxes will be added.


Deposit and Payment

A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation and the balance of the fee is due 30 days prior to check-in. A refundable security deposit of $300 is also required prior to check-in. Payment is acceptable in VISA, MasterCard, cheque or cash. The Security Deposit can be submitted separately with your final payment. This deposit will be held against loss or damage to the unit or contents during your stay and may be held against cleaning charges, if such is required.


There is no hotel style daily maid service. Guests will check-in to a clean unit and must leave it as found. A fee of $100 will deducted from the Security Deposit if the unit is in need of clean-up. All garbage must be taken off the premises. A garbage bin is available next to the Fire hall.


Check in - Check out

Regular season check-in time is before 10:00am or after 3:00pm and check-out is after skiing on Sundays. During the Christmas or Spring Break Holiday periods check-in time is after 3:00pm and check-out is before 11:00am.



Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to check-in day are subject to a $30 per unit Administration Fee. A cancellation made within 30 days of the first nights stay is subject to the full fee unless the unit is re-booked at which time, only the $30 cancellation fee will apply.
